But at Sound Construction Services, we simply see this as the beginning of our relationship and these parts of the process are always free to you. Whether you know what you want or you’re still thinking it through, our trusted remodeling experts will meet with you at your home or onsite, talk with you, and document the scope of your project.

After our free in-home consultation, we’ll create and send you a comprehensive and detailed estimate. At Sound Construction Services we’re known for standing by our estimates. If you change your mind on some details of the project after the estimate or during construction, we’ll update the estimate and communicate with you in a timely manner, if your changes will exceed the original estimate. Sometimes unforeseen problems are hidden behind walls or floors. When this happens, we’ll notify you immediately with options for approval on how to proceed. With Sound Construction Services you’ll never be surprised by hidden fees.

If you and Sound Construction Services are a good fit and you accept the estimate, then we will collect a standard forty percent deposit when you are ready for us to put you on the schedule and begin working for you. The deposit lets us know that you are ready to go and allows our experienced staff behind the scenes to start scheduling your project and ordering your materials.

Once your materials arrive and any necessary approvals are obtained, we can begin the onsite stage of your construction project. Your Project Manager will continue to facilitate communications between you, our crew, and any of our professional tradesman involved on your project. Our crew is extremely trustworthy in your home and hundreds of our customers have simply handed over the keys. If this is more convenient for you then we will hang a lockbox on your front door knob and secure your keys in there. However, if you need or want to be at home during construction, we’ll do everything possible to minimize the disruption to your life!

When the majority of your construction is complete, your Project Manager will walk through your project with you and create a touch-up list that documents any items that are unsatisfactory or incomplete. After this list is compiled, the touch-up crew will go through and take care of every item on the list to your satisfaction.
